Intern, London
Specialisms:
Having specialised in the legal implications arising out of transportation, logistics and online contracts and cybersecurity (ecommerce), I am particularly interested in combining those with current Corporate Social Responsibility practices. I strongly believe that the environmental, social and governance dimensions subject to the enterprise framework are cornerstones that have to be closely looked at. I am particularly keen on human rights lying behind supply chain and would be very passionate about combining it with risk management and sustainability, also with some attention to alternative software trends used in the logistics sector in this digital era we live in. I speak 4 languages: Spanish, English, French and Basque with a strong ambition to learn a fifth one in the next future.

Background:
I obtained my Bachelor of Laws degree in my native Bilbao and during my studies I got more and more interested in international law and several related fields, like: Human Rights, Intellectual Property and the transportation of goods. After my graduation I embarked on a volunteering project in Cape Verde -in partnership with the Darwin Initiative- about sustainability, community inclusion and boosting the ecotourism of one of the lesser known islands of the archipelago. I recently graduated as a LLM in International Commercial and Maritime Law and I am very keen on combining my newfound knowledge on the legal aspects of international trade and e-commerce with corporate responsibility and risk management issues

Person I most admire:
My mother and father for the exceptional degree of commitment, wisdom, common sense and love brought. And to all those resilient souls who stood for their rights until the end and those who went too soon, never losing their courage and smile.
