Kathryn Thomas

Senior Consultant, London
I specialise in environmental services at Corporate Citizenship, I work with my clients on environmental KPI verification, GHG verification and carbon footprinting. I am particularly interested in helping companies to understand and manage their social as well as their environmental impacts.

I have been with Corporate Citizenship since September 2015, prior to this I was as a Consultant in the Sustainability Services team at Bureau Veritas where I worked on sustainability report assurance and auditing codes of conduct. I hold a BSc in Social Anthropology from the LSE and an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London where I specialised in Business and the Environment. Whilst at Imperial I was hired by Asda to write my thesis about the sustainable sourcing of palm oil in Walmart’s own brand products and spent 6 months working in Asda’s in-house sustainability team.

Client & Project experience:
I deliver environmental services for a range of clients including Hiscox, Amec Foster Wheeler, Alliance Trust, Chime and Rexam. I have worked on consulting projects with Unilever, Abbott and Go Ahead Group.

Person I most admire:
My big sister, she is a true environmentalist and inspired me to study and work in sustainability. She is also a mother of 4, so is a bit of a wonder woman!
