Megan DeYoung

Director, New York
As Director of Corporate Citizenship’s North American practice, I wear several hats. Every day I pursue my first love - advising companies on how to bring social, environmental, and economic issues into their strategy and way of doing business. I also really enjoy my other responsibilities: overseeing our North American operations, the teams in New York and San Francisco, our global business development activities and sitting on our Executive Team.

Prior to Corporate Citizenship, I worked at PwC in the Sustainable Business practice. Before that, I was at PSI in DC, focusing on health issues in Africa and working with companies on HIV/AIDS prevention education. I am a member of the External Advisory Board of the Erb Institute at the University of Michigan. I have a MBA and MS in Natural Resources and Environment from the University of Michigan as well as a BA, with High Honors, in Sociology from Emory University.

Client and Project Experience:
I have been fortunate to work with a variety of clients at various points in their corporate responsibility journey, building long-term relationships with many of them. Companies I have worked with include AbbVie, ConAgra Foods, Gildan, S&P Global, and Xylem.

Person I most admire:
Strong women around the world. Women who have changed the world by demanding that we be open-minded and treat each other with respect and fairness. Women who live by the mantra that that no one can do everything, but everyone can do something.
