With nearly 15 years in Sustainability Consultancy, and having also worked in-house, I use my practical experience in the strategic integration of corporate responsibility when advising organisations. I work with Senior Executives to develop effective Corporate Responsibility strategies that ensure long-term business success.
One of the benefits of working in consultancy is that I have had the opportunity to work in a wide range of sectors and in many different countries. All organisations have different challenges and opportunities, but I have a particular interest in organisations with high profile social impacts.
Following an engineering degree and an early career in manufacturing, I was the Head of Corporate Responsibility for Camelot, the operator of the UK National Lottery. This was in the early, pioneering days of Corporate Responsibility and I have been fortunate to continue to work in this fascinating area. I completed an MBA at the University of Warwick before joining Corporate Citizenship in 2003.
Client & Project experience:
I have worked on a wide variety of projects across all of our service areas. My clients include Diageo, Pearson, Richemont, the International Olympic Committee, EDF Energy, De Beers and Go Ahead.
Person I most admire:
Malala Yousafzi . She demonstrated courage and determination in overcoming adversity and used a terrible experience to positive effect - highlighting the importance of education in enabling women and girls to have opportunities and life choices.
