Associate Director, LondonSpecialisms
I specialise in environmental management, encompassing strategy development and implementation, regulatory analysis, materiality and risk assessment, measurement and data analysis, reporting, and assurance. My core expertise is in climate change mitigation and adaptation, but includes a wider remit of environmental topics such as water, biodiversity, waste, and producer responsibility.
Prior to joining Corporate Citizenship I worked as a Senior Consultant at ERM based in Johannesburg, having transferred to South Africa from London in 2014. At ERM I worked closely with companies in the UK, Southern Africa, and globally to develop and implement climate change mitigation strategies in response to evolving climate change regulatory contexts, undertaking regulatory analysis, carbon footprinting, strategy development, target setting, and associated reporting and assurance. I also supported numerous companies with physical climate change risk and adaptation studies drawing on IPCC climate change scenarios. More broadly I worked on corporate environmental strategies and impact reduction programs in relation to water, waste, biodiversity, and carbon offsetting, amongst other topics.
I have an MA in Biology from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Environmental Technology (specialism: Business and the Environment) from Imperial College.
Client and Project Experience
I have worked with a range of clients globally spanning the power, mining, infrastructure, financial, food & beverage, technology and FMCG sectors. Clients have included Tesco, Anglo American, Syngenta, Vodafone, MTN, and PMI, amongst others. I have supported these companies with a range of environmental topics, with a focus on climate change.
Person I most admire
Christiana Figueres – whose inclusiveness, dedication, and stubborn optimism brought about a feat of international diplomacy and a new era of climate change action in the form of the 2015 Paris Agreement.
