Manager of Business Development, West Coast at Corporate Citizenship

Location: San Francisco Bay area Corporate Citizenship is a specialist global corporate responsibility and sustainability management consulting firm.  We advise companies on their strategies for responsible and sustainable business.  We have offices in London, New York and Singapore. We are now seeking a Manager of Business Development with significant business development and corporate responsibility (CR) experience to join our team and lead in managing and developing our client base on the West Coast. Corporate Citizenship’s Graduate Internship- Singapore Office 

Corporate Citizenship helps clients to create and deliver a full range of CSR and sustainability programmes.  We work with corporate functions and business units to develop strategies, engage stakeholders, manage environmental impacts, and invest in communities to achieve business goals and fulfill corporate missions. Corporate Citizenship also publishes Corporate Citizenship Briefing, the leading journal in this sector and we founded LBG (the global standard for corporate community measurement).

Position Summary: The Intern will support the company’s research team with a primary focus on assignments related to all aspects of corporate responsibility and sustainable development.  There will be an opportunity to be involved in project areas such as: assurance, reporting, stakeholder engagement, corporate responsibility strategy, supply chain, corporate community investment consulting and briefing services. In addition, there will be occasions to provide ad-hoc admin support. The position is for a period of 4 months and is paid.

Skills: A demonstrable interest and knowledge of corporate social responsibility issues and passionate about the positive contribution business can make to society and development; superior research and writing skills; ability to work as part of a small team; excellent communication skills – written, oral, presentation. Background knowledge of Southeast Asian issues is strongly preferred. The candidate should ideally also have 1 other Asian language ability.

Researcher internship- London

The Intern will support the company’s research team with a primary focus on assignments related to all aspects of corporate responsibility and sustainable development.  There will be an opportunity to be involved in project areas such as: assurance, stakeholder engagement, corporate responsibility strategy, supply chains, corporate community investment consulting and briefing services. In addition, there will be occasions to provide ad-hoc admin support. The successful candidate will also compile the daily CSR media briefing and research global CSR and sustainable development news for the monthly online Corporate Citizenship Briefing.
