Why has it taken so long?

Children’s rights are finally getting the attention they deserve on the corporate responsibility agenda, says the Guardian.

Finally.

For almost a century, Save the Children and UNICEF have been campaigning and lobbying for children’s rights. Save the Children’s founder, Eglantyne Jebb, was arrested for speaking up about children’s suffering during the First World War.

In 1919.

Did the corporate world not hear her call? Have they been asleep since then… or simply not listening?

Well, corporates. Now is the time to wake up.
