I’d never pick from a menu a dish called: “Eat your own words.”
That’s what Apple has had to do. The company is rejoining the EPEAT environmental standard just days after leaving it.
Within the letter from Apple’s VP Manufacturing we find the statement: “I recognize that this was a mistake.” The M word. That doesn’t appear too often in corporate comms.
If I were an Apple shareholder I’d want to know how and why the mistake was made.
