An annual review of Corporate Community Investment (CCI), both in the UK and globally has been released today by LBG – the globally recognised framework for measuring corporate community investment.
The annual review analysed data from current LBG member companies from across the globe, including: L’Oreal, Diageo, Barclays, Centrica, Royal Mail, Asda, John Lewis and many more.
With the results of the analysis in, LBG are extremely pleased to announce that this year, LBG member companies have invested a staggering £1.6 billion into the communities in which they operate. 2014 is also a record year, with more companies than ever reporting on their corporate community investment. Through their work and investment, these companies have supported 93 million people as 186,000 organisations and over 600,000 employees volunteered their time, skills and knowledge. The key areas for corporate community investment in 2014 have been health and education.
