This morning, Nick Hurd MP, joined Corporate Citizenship in London to host a breakfast briefing as part of Corporate Citizenship’s Knowledge Series. Posing the question ‘What does the new UK government mean for business and society?’ the breakfast event attracted a great audience from across various sectors and industries.

Guests included representatives from HSBC, BAM Construct, Marks and Spencer, BT, E.ON, KPMG, Network Rail and FirstGroup.

After an introduction from Corporate Citizenship’s Mike Tuffrey and insights from Nick Hurd, the topics highlighted were opened up for discussion, with Corporate Citizenship’s Amanda Jordan fielding some top questions from the audience.

Key themes covered during the session included social innovation, climate change, community engagement, inequality and “business in the dock”.
