Miguel Oyarbide joins Corporate Citizenship after six years at Australia Post where he focused on the delivery of its award-winning Group Corporate Responsibility Plan, impact measurement and integrated reporting.
Based in Melbourne, Miguel additionally brings over 15 years of international experience gained as senior consultant at the Australian Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility; as ESG analyst at Maplecroft in the UK; and as sustainability consultant for Red2Red in Spain. Working with global and domestic organisations across multiple sectors and industries, his experience ranges from strategy design and impact evaluation to climate risk and the transition to net zero.
Miguel highlights: “It’s a privilege to join Corporate Citizenship at a time when its expertise to advance sustainable business practices is more important than ever. I’ve always looked upon Corporate Citizenship for inspiration as it has made its mark in the world of business and sustainability: from establishing the Corporate Citizenship Briefing as the longest-running publication on sustainable business issues and creating Business for Societal Impact, to the less public value created for over 500 companies across more than 50 countries, advising them on their sustainable business strategies. I am excited to join Corporate Citizenship in its 25th anniversary and becoming part of its future.”
Miguel will be now working closely with the team in APAC to grow Corporate Citizenship’s contribution to sustainable business in the region.
