I am a sustainability development professional with expertise in strategic communications, environmental compliance design, conflict analysis, and innovative resilience programming. I have over 8 years of experience delivering highly effective, strategic environmental and social impact projects across five continents in some of the world’s most challenging regions. I am passionate about mitigating climate impacts that contribute to economic, physical, and community health by harnessing the power of corporate strategies and transparent reporting.Background:
I have worked with a diverse set of clients including B Corporations, NGOs, local and national governments, the private sector, and USAID. I have contributed to environmental policy analysis and change in the areas of GHG, irrigation, and decarbonization, through the USC Schwarzenegger Institute, the Long Beach City Water Board, and the Gad Municipal Cantón Bolívar. I spent two years working and living in Ecuador with the United States Peace Corps, planning, and facilitating a sustainable water system in the Andes. I hold an MA in Sustainable Public Policy from the Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California, specializing in international sustainable policy and development. I also hold a BA in History from the University of California Los Angeles.

Person I most admire:
I most admire Las Mujeres Amazónicas Defensoras de la Selva, the Amazonian Women Defenders of the Jungle, a collective of women land defenders and keepers of biodiversity protecting their territories in Ecuador from extractive industries and Indigenous rights violations. Their efforts have led to the ratification of the Escazú Agreement, a precedent-setting multilateral accord guaranteeing access rights on environmental matters, and the explicit protection of human rights and environmental defenders. This incredible group of women has risen against all odds to show the world that environmental protection is not an isolated fight of the Indigenous peoples but rather one that dictates the survival of our planet.
