Areas of expertise:
I have worked in sustainability for over 20 years, with a focus on corporate sustainability.  I have led the delivery of GHG accounting (scopes 1, 2 and 3), SECR, Net Zero strategies, engagement workshops, SDG reporting and social value reporting.

Background:
I’ve worked for the last decade with Planet Mark, managing the certification team to ensure delivery of carbon footprints and social value measurement to 100s of SMEs and several larger businesses.   As Operations Director, one of my focuses was leading the optimisation of process, resulting in significant reductions in delivery time and rework.  I was also a Company Director and created and implemented strategy for our business resulting in rapid growth.

Client and project experience:
I have worked across many sectors, predominantly with SMEs in professional service sectors,  supporting them through their GHG accounting and target setting, sustainability strategies and employee engagement programmes.   I have also worked closely with developers, main contractors and others in the built environment sector.

Person I most admire:
I have recently discovered Brene Brown, and I am inspired by her life-long work and journey exploring emotions, communication and connection, particularly with respect to leadership.   I’m also a long-term fan of David Attenborough, and am continually impressed with his ability to keep his messaging relevant and approach the natural world with curiosity, humour and awe.
