Driven by the idea of developing projects to foster energy transitions with innovation and humanity, I graduated as a mechanical engineer in 2018. With a passion for renewable energy, I joined the Colombia Chamber of Energy to expand my understanding of the power sector from a business perspective. Afterwards, I joined an engineering company where I dived into the built environment by coordinating a training programme in elevator installation. My previous experience in the energy sector led me to pursue the MSc Sustainable Energy Futures at Imperial College London to gain a wide perspective on the energy challenges and how to create a tangible impact. Now I’m currently merging energy modelling, data analysis, and sustainability to help clients reduce their environment footprint while developing business growth.
Person I most admire:
Maria Salomea Skłodowska or Marie Curie, a relentless scientist that pursued her desire throughout life to understand chemical elements by a creative and thorough experimentation process; overcoming taboos, obstacles, and prejudices to achieve not only huge discoveries but longstanding inspiration to follow one’s passion in favour of humanity.
